South East Teachers, part of Sussex Teachers Ltd, was founded in 2007 in reaction to the service being offered from large private equity backed Teacher Supply Agencies. We felt that offering a more personal long-term approach, rather than one bound to maximum profit for investors, would result in a reliable and cost-effective supply teaching service for local schools and teachers.
Since 2007 we have grown organically from servicing teaching vacancies in Sussex, to expanding to London, the Home Counties and overseas. We are not backed by investors or shareholders and thus prefer instead to be only accountable to local schools, teachers, councils and the DfE. Our team of experienced education consultants have a network of qualified teachers with varying levels of experience and expertise, ready to take on new challenges in their careers.
